Same experience as three years ago - consistently spot on. Must comment on departure gate letting us through and like a holding pen on the stairs as aircraft not ready. Totally not like Cork airport.

The Cork Airport is located just 8 km from the city centre. This is a very modern airport of the Republic of Ireland. You can get from there to almost any country in the European Union. Aircrafts of both regular and low-fare airlines fly from the airport. In 2009, the airport sent 2.8 million passengers. There are two hotels near the airport.

Yellow buses depart every 30 minutes from the arrivals hall. The trip to the city centre takes 10-15 minutes. Another carrier, on the other hand, runs regularly between the airport and the bus station (Cork's Parnell Place Bus Station) in Cork. The trip takes about 30 minutes. The main train station (Cork ''s Kent Train station) is located in the city centre on Lower Glanmire Road. It is a 10-minute walk from the bus station.
Taxi stands are located in front of the main terminal building. The approximate cost of travel between the airport and the city centre is 10-15 EUR. Journey time is about 15 minutes.

The Cork Airport is in perfect location: 8 km from Cork city centre, at the south end of the N27 (when traveling from the north, west or east), at the R600 exit (when traveling from Kinsale).

Finances – you can use the bank's services and currency exchange point. Money can be withdrawn at one of two ATMs.
Shopping – there are numerous shops at the airport. There is also a duty-free zone.
Car rental – several companies provide services in this field at the airport.
