Fiji
Fiji, located in the southwestern Pacific Ocean, is an island nation in Melanesia made up of more than 332 islands and 500 islets. The largest islands are Viti Levu, home to the capital Suva, and Vanua Levu. The climate is humid and equatorial, with cyclones possible from November to April. Fiji is inhabited by descendants of both Polynesians and Melanesians. The best time to visit is during the dry season from May to October, when temperatures are mild and ideal for exploring.
