Airport Palma de Mallorca Airport

The international airport in Palma de Mallorca is the third largest in Spain, behind Madrid-Barajas and Barcelona-El Prat. It is also the largest and the most important airfield on the Balearic Islands. It’s located directly adjacent to the town of Can Pastilla, 8 km east of Palma de Mallorca. During the holiday season, it’s one of Europe’s busiest airports. There are four terminals at the airport. It’s the main base for the Spanish carriers, Air Europa and Vueling as well as a focus airport for Ryanair. 50 airlines (low-cost and regular) operate out of Palma de Mallorca Airport. It handles over 23,7 million passengers every year.
There are several hotels within the airport; you can book a room at the tourist information desk.

Bus
There’s a bus stop outside the multistory car park, outside door D in Arrivals. Another one is just outside the check-in hall, opposite the airport access road.
Bus no.1 connects the airport with all the major sites of the city and the coastal boardwalk.
From 1 November to 30 April the bus operates from the airport to the city center between 6 am and 1:10 am and returns from 5:30 am to 1:00 am.
From 1 May to 31 October, passengers can get from the airport to the center between 6 am and 1:50 am and between 5:30 am and 2:10 am in the opposite direction. The bus departs every 15 minutes. The single ticket costs 3 euro.
Bus no.21 connects the airport with several hotels along the beach. From 1 November to 30 April it will take you from the airport to the Playa de Palma between 7 am and 10:10 pm, and from 7 am to 9:30 pm in the opposite direction.
From 1 May to 31 October, the bus departs from the airport to the Playa de Palma between 7 am and 0:30 am, and returns from 7 am to 1 am. It departs every 30 minutes. The single ticket costs 3 euro.

Palma Mallorca Airport offers 5700 parking lots. Right next to the terminal buildings, you will find a multistory car park for both long and short-term stay. Parking for car rentals is located on the ground floor. The long stay car park occupies the fifth and sixth floor. Disabled parking spaces are available on each level of the car park. They’re all placed close to the escalators and elevators.
